Beth Lenco Winter Still Life Drawing Retreat

Category: Cultural & Community Events
1:00 p.m.
Spend an afternoon with Beth as your guide as you learn essential drawing and seeing techniques that will ignite your art practice. After years of blood, sweat, and tears, Beth has learned that there is no other way to learn to draw than to draw. But drawing can be playful and fun while you practice getting in those pencil hours. On top of the immense satisfaction you will gain by seeing results from your work, drawing clears and opens the mind allowing you more spaciousness and happiness. Beth has also found ways to “trick” the mind into letting go of its grasp for results, giving you a greater sense of ease and flow as you draw. Beth has also learned that by drawing things you love and listening to good music, your skills improve faster because you are motivated! Please join us for another year of joyful drawing.
In this 3 hour class you will learn:
A mindful and relaxing approach to drawing.
A deeper appreciation of colour and the simple beauty that is all around us. How to cultivate a consistent creative practice.
Techniques to improve your eye and drawing skills.
