In some works\, domestic objects\, such as quilts\, linens\, little houses and flowers enter the landscape\, their colours and geometry echoing the rhythms of the surrounding hills. In others\, water itself becomes the focus: sweeping shorelines and layered currents rendered in clean lines and restrained colour\, suggesting movement.\, depth\, and quiet continuity.\n\nJan’s driftwood furniture extends this sensibility into three dimensions. Formed from wood shaped by tide and erosion\, each piece carries the marks of its passage through water and time. Both functional and sculptural\, the furniture reflects a balance between natural form and human intention\, emphasizing structure without excess.\n\nTogether\, the works create an environment rather than a display\, one that blurs boundaries between interior and exterior\, land and water\, art and object. “Drift & Dwell” invites viewers to slow down and attend to the quiet dialogue between making and place\, and to consider how care and restraint can transform what is gathered into something lasting.\n\nAn exploration of form shaped by sea and time.\n  \n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
