Our gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday\, 11 am to 4 pm.\n\nJoin us for the opening reception for her work on Thursday\, February 5th\, at 6:30 pm. This is your opportunity to view her upcycled\, unique East Coast artwork as well as meet the artist behind the magic.\n\nMarsha Ringer was born and raised in a small fishing community on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. The water and her coastal surroundings have always influenced her. You can find her walking the shorelines in search of treasures and creative inspiration. Marsha has been creating formany years\, using her finds of sea/recycled glass\, pebbles\, shells\, rope & driftwood.  Finding inspiration from her husband’s employment in the lobster fishery. Her latest creations use repurposed fishing rope and discarded wooden lobster trap staves to create vivid wall hangings. Marsha is also an avid knitter\, a skill she inherited from her mother and many creative women in her family. She loves creating slippers\, hats\, socks\, and mittens.\nThe business name\, Knits & Pieces by Marsha Ringer\, reflects the bits and pieces of everything (including her heart) that she puts into each piece of art.\n\nYou will find Marsha at local artisan sales\, on Facebook\, Instagram and several community locations\, including Parker’s General Store\, the gift shops at White Point Beach Resort\, the Quarterdeck\, Barrington Museum Complex\, Pumpkin Village\, Bluenose II Company Store\, Cape Forchu Lighthouse and Sand & Souls.\n\nMarsha accepts custom orders when supplies are available. Her latest creations use repurposed fishing rope and discarded wooden lobster trap staves to create vivid wall hangings.
