Experience this inaugural performance of The Marriage Monologues, an original play created from the synthesis of 100 conversations about love, marriage, divorce, romance and everything in between!

Featuring a compelling original script, The Marriage Monologues explores themes of love, loss, tragedy, hope and joy in the context of the romantic relationships that shape our lives. This series of monologues are at times poignant, at times funny, sometimes disturbing yet thoroughly entertaining and relatable. A diverse cast of veteran and brand-new performers share individual narratives created from a composite of 100 stories collected by writer Libby Broadbent over the course of more than a year.

PLEASE NOTE: The performers are NOT telling their own personal stories. Each monologue is a FICTIONAL creation of the author, inspired by the stories people have shared about their relationships. Each monologue was inspired by many stories; thus, no one monologue represents any individual person, including the cast, the people who generously shared their thoughts with the author, or of Libby herself.

Presented by the Winds of Change Dramatic Society, the first performance on Friday, November 27 ($25) offers the option of including an Opening Reception ticket, providing audience members the opportunity to mingle and chat with the cast at the end of the performance. This ticket is $10, and will include snacks and water, with other beverages available for purchase in the lobby.

Mature Content Warning: Relationships can be difficult. Please be advised that this play contains mature content and language, with occasional references to abuse, violence, death, sex, mental health and emotional abuse. These references are spoken, not visually portrayed.

We welcome you to enjoy this unique performance which promises to make you laugh, cry and reflect on the varied roles of the significant people in your life.
