Astor Academy Summer Camp 2025
Musical Theatre Camp with Andrew Morrisey
For the second year, Andrew Morrisey joined us from New York City to lead our one-week musical theatre camp. Andrew is a NY-based actor and teacher, originally from Truro, and has run his camps in theatres around Nova Scotia for the last 17 summers! Ages 7-16. $150. July 14-18, 2025, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Curtain Call Academy with Lincoln Inglis
Back by popular demand and in its fourth year, Lincoln Inglis put his spin on the decades-long Astor Theatre Camp tradition, exploring campers’ creativity by developing an original play from start to finish, learning plenty of theatre skills along the way. The two-week program provides a comprehensive overview of theatre production, encompassing script writing, character development, and stage direction. Ages 11-17. $150. July 21 – August 1, 2025, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Director’s Cut: From Script to Screen Movie Camp
Mentors: Easton Goodwin and Dan Williams
In this weeklong afternoon camp, participants explore what goes on behind the camera, work in a group to formulate an idea, create a script and storyboard, and then film a masterpiece! Participants celebrated their movies on the big screen (complete with the famous Astor popcorn) during Astor Academy Director’s Cut Camp Film Premiere. Ages 10-17. $50. August 11-15, 2025, 1-4 p.m.

A Week of One Day Camps
In 2025, for the first time we presented a week of fun one day camps! Registrants could sign up for one or all, including science, theatre, technical and performance skills. August 18 – 22, 2025.
