Astor Academy Summer Camp 2026

Musical Theatre Camp with Andrew Morrisey

Returning for the third year, Andrew will be joining us again from New York City to lead our one-week musical theatre camp. Andrew is a NY-based actor and teacher, originally from Truro, and has been running his camps in theatres around NS for the last 17 summers!

Ages 7-16. $175. July 6-10, 2026, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Curtain Call Academy with Lincoln Inglis

Now in its fifth year, Lincoln puts his spin on the decades-long Astor Theatre Camp tradition. In this one-of-a-kind program, Lincoln will explore campers’ creativity by developing an original play from start to finish, learning plenty of theatre skills along the way!

Ages 11-17. $175. July 13 –July 24, 2026, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Curtain Call Academy with Lincoln Inglis JR

Director Cut from Script to Screen 

Returning for the third year, this week-long afternoon camp allows children to find out all about what goes on behind the camera. Budding filmmaker and long-time Astor Theatre friend, Easton Goodwin, will work in a group to formulate an idea, create a script and storyboard, and then film your masterpiece! The week will finish with watching your movie on the big screen (complete with the famous Astor popcorn!)
August 3-7 · 9am -4pm · Ages 10-17 · $75/child

Astor Academy Radio Theatre Camp 

The Astor Academy Radio Theatre Camp allows campers aged 8–17 to learn to create audio-driven dramas, with a focus on voice acting, sound effects, scriptwriting, and audio editing. In this camp, we will record, polish, and perform a radio play on a community radio station.
August 24 -28· Ages 8-17· 9 am – 3pm· $75 per child
