Faced with a future of chair-xercise and spoon-fed pudding, nursing home friends Nora and Edna attempt to break out of the “fox farm” and find a life worth sticking around for.

The Lunenburg County Film Series started in 2004 as a non-profit organization with a mandate to bring unique independent cinema to the south shore. The LCFS has had a long and successful run at the Cineplex theatre in Bridgewater. Now that the cinema is closed, we are hosting the series in Liverpool at the Astor Theatre.

Tickets are $12 at the door, general seating. Our doors open a half hour before each screening, so make sure you come early for a great seat and some of our famously delicious Astor popcorn.
