Merle Haggard, “The Poet of The Common Man” is widely considered to be one of the most important singer-songwriters in the history of country music. During a career that spanned from the 1960s until his death in 2016, he recorded more than 70 albums, and had more than 40 number #1 hit songs. Merle says, “Country music is about all of those things that we believe in, but we can’t see – like dreams, and songs, and souls.”

Lawrence Maxwell is a PEI born singer-songwriter, who is a multiple PEI Music award-winner, and ECMA nominee with three studio albums under his belt. He has toured internationally in the UK and across Europe. His band of Fugitives consists of the finest musicians.
