Song Sung Blue is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film written, co-produced, and directed by Craig Brewer. It is based on the 2008 documentary film of the same name by Greg Kohs.[5] The film stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson as Mike and Claire Sardina, who perform as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.
Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams.

Our tickets are only $10 at the door, general seating. Our doors open a half hour before each screening, so make sure you come early for some of our famously delicious Astor popcorn.
We will have a special screening on Sunday, February 15, where the Astor Bar will be open at 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
*The sensory-friendly screening at 11 a.m. on Saturday will have a lower volume, house lights on, and the atmosphere is very relaxed – people can make noise and come and go as they choose. Everyone is welcome!
