    Come view Milton Canoe and Camera Club's Art Exhibition in our Lower Gallery from August 6 to September 25, 2026.

    The opening reception for this show will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 6:30 pm.  This is your first opportunity to view this beautiful show and meet the artists.

    Established in 1949, the Milton Canoe and Camera Club has been inspiring photographers throughout Milton and Queens County for decades. This exhibition showcases the creativity, curiosity, and unique perspectives of club members as they capture moments from the world around them.

  • Radio Theatre Camp

    The Astor Academy Radio Theatre Camp allows campers aged 8–17 to learn to create audio-driven dramas, with a focus on voice acting, sound effects, scriptwriting, and audio editing. In this camp, we will record, polish, and perform a radio play on a community radio station.

    The live theater capture of the hit musical Hadestown, which won eight Tony Awards in 2019 including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, featuring the five original principals of the Broadway company. The genre-defying new musical blends modern American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz to reimagine a sweeping ancient tale. Following two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.
