    Come view Milton Canoe and Camera Club's Art Exhibition in our Lower Gallery from August 6 to September 25, 2026.

    The opening reception for this show will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 6:30 pm.  This is your first opportunity to view this beautiful show and meet the artists.

    Established in 1949, the Milton Canoe and Camera Club has been inspiring photographers throughout Milton and Queens County for decades. This exhibition showcases the creativity, curiosity, and unique perspectives of club members as they capture moments from the world around them.

  • Radio Theatre Camp

    The Astor Academy Radio Theatre Camp allows campers aged 8–17 to learn to create audio-driven dramas, with a focus on voice acting, sound effects, scriptwriting, and audio editing. In this camp, we will record, polish, and perform a radio play on a community radio station.

    The Astor Theatre is welcoming abstract artist Joshua Slauenwhite to our upper gallery for the month of September. Joshua is an amature artist who is branching outside of his comfort zone to display his unique collection of handcrafted items. Be sure to stop by, sign our guest book and see what this new local artist has to offer. 

  • Stamped Heart Pendant Workshop with Chris DeWolf

    Participants will learn to stamp and colour metal, then use rivets to cold connect the pieces together. This is a 16+ ages workshop.

    Big Stage Open Mics are BACK at the Astor on Saturday, September 26!
    Join us for a fantastic evening featuring local community talent.
    We have missed you on our stage!
    You can sing, dance, tell jokes, read a poem, play the piano – you have a talent- we want to see it!
    You can sign up the night of the event at 6 p.m. at our Box Office
    Just want to watch? No problem, this is a free, all-ages event. Come on out and support local talent in our community!
    This event is free for all ages. We will be collecting donations at the door to help us continue offering events like this one to our community.
