Join us for the Scotiacentric Designs Art Exhibition in our Lower Gallery from June 4 to 24th. The Opening Reception for this show will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m.
After our very successful performance of "And Then There Were None Left Unbroken", we are back again to perform another original stage play during the Privateer Days, Liverpool, Nova Scotia Weekend.
"Drift & Dwell" brings together acrylic paintings by Sabine Kearns and driftwood furniture by Jan Kennedy, friends connected by a shared sensitivity to time and place and a love of the ocean.
Returning for the third year, Andrew will be joining us again from New York City to lead our one-week musical theatre camp. Andrew is a NY-based actor and teacher, originally from Truro, and has been running his camps in theatres around NS for the last 17 summers!

Andrew is a Music Theatre graduate of several programs, including Circle in the Square Theatre School’s Acting program in NYC -the only accredited training attached to a Broadway theatre. As a teacher, he has worked with voice students who have performed in regional theatres across the US, on national tours, and on Broadway.
Andrew has worked hard with this campers this week to perform selections from a few musicals, but we are keeping it under our hats to which ones :) Come and see how amazing our Astor Academy Youth are and how much they have learned in one week!

This year, Lincoln is bringing this fun and exciting camp to 7-13-year-olds.
Lincoln is a FAN FAVOURITE at the Astor Academy, holding successful Theatre Camps since 2019.
His ORIGINAL Curtian Call Academy Camp is now in its 8th year.
This year, he is bringing this awesome camp experience to the next generation in Curtain Call Academy JR!

They want you to come and see what they have created in this hilarious theatrical production that takes a creative spin on characters you know and love.
Returning for the third year, this week-long afternoon camp allows children to find out all about what goes on behind the camera. Budding filmmaker and long-time Astor Theatre friend, Easton Goodwin, will work in a group to formulate an idea, create a script and storyboard, and then film your masterpiece! The week will finish with watching your movie on the big screen (complete with the famous Astor popcorn!)
